Program Details

How Long Does the Program Take?

The duration of our programs at Licensed by Design Beauty Academy varies based on several factors, including the specific course and the student’s individual pace.

In general, the course is expected to take:

Cosmetology
1000 Hours – without 2 years of salon experience
500 Hours – with 2 years of salon experience

Barber
1000 Hours – without 3 years of barber shop experience
500 Hours – with 3 years of barber shop experience

What Payment Options Are Available?

At Licensed by Design Beauty Academy, we understand the importance of flexibility, especially when it comes to financing your education. We do offer some payment options to our students, and our admissions team can help discuss your options. They’re here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring your focus remains on your passion and education.

What is the Class Schedule For The Educator in Training Program

Full-time – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
Part-time – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday

Join our Educator Program

If you are already a licensed cosmetologist, consider furthering your education in teaching! It can be a fulfilling and rewarding experience helping to train future cosmetologists and barbers as they go through their beauty school journey. You can further develop your mentorship skills while using the skills you’ve already developed back when you were in school.
