At Licensed By Design Beauty Academy, we offer the following programs:

• Cosmetology
• Barbering
• Instructor Training

In order to graduate, students must meet the required program hours, pass all required exams, and meet any financial obligations associated with your program.

We currently do not offer financial aid, but we do offer an in house payment plan. For more information, contact us! We’d be happy to go over your payment options with you.

In order to enroll into our cosmetology or barber programs, you must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory.
• As per Illinois regulations, students must complete a specific number of training hours for both cosmetology and barbering programs. These hours are diligently covered in our curriculum, ensuring you’re ready for licensure.
• Proof of age and educational qualifications will be required during the enrollment process.

Yes! We’d be happy to have you join us at Licensed By Design Beauty Academy. Someone from our admission team can help walk you through the transition process.

During your tour, you can expect to see our school and get your questions answered. We recommend bringing a list of questions, a notebook and pen for taking notes, and a family member or friend for support. There are multiple different things that make our Academy unique. Here, we go above and beyond the traditional education and try to give you a more personalized experience. While we will teach the state requirements we’ll help design your education to focus on what you really love and are most passionate about.
